Thinking About Dying

Dave recently got inspired to make his own coffin.  Now, he doesn’t plan on using it for another 40 to 50 years but it will be ready when he’s ready.  Like one Facebook poster asked, “Is it creepy or funny, or a mixture of both?  Yes, Yes and Yes.

But it raises a good question – are you prepared to die?  Not just with the necessities dying creates like making sure you have means to have a funeral, that you had life insurance to insure your loved ones were taken care of and the dreams you have for them didn’t die with you.  But did your loved ones know how much you cared, did you leave any unresolved business or not say something you really should of.  Have you made peace with God?  Did you reach for your dreams or did you settle?  That sort of stuff.  It’s good to think about because we never know when our time will come and regrets aren’t what you want to have with you at the end.

I came across this list of questions on nextavenue.org and wanted to share it with you.  Even if you only pick out one or two to answer or ponder, I think it’s an exercise worth doing.  And check out the latest episode of The Not Dead Yet Show to get a closer look at Dave’s really cool, very creepy and morbid coffin.

PS – the  SBL Fan Group is doing a live interview with Dave on Monday from Mexico.  It is a closed group so you’d have to join and be accepted before you are in, but it should be fun.
