We arrived early and left late each day, but man, was this event awesome! We got to spend time with a ton of Saddleback fans, make some new friends, receive solid feedback on prototype designs, (like our leather Chest, Guitar Case, and Cigar Humidor) and enjoy the amazing folks that run the Stockyards. Longhorns are still driven up Exchange Ave daily, and it’s pretty cool to experience a slice of history, Texas style.
For those that came out and showed us their Saddleback Keychain, they received a Saddleback T-Shirt, and for those that brought their Keychain and Saddleback bag, they got an new unreleased Bifold ID Wallet too. We’re hoping to find more brand ambassadors and wear-testers in this way, so we can get real world testing from our biggest fans.
We also had the privilege to meet Television producer and Travel Host, Josh Gates, and Fort Worth Attorney at Law, Bryan Wilson, ‘The Texas Lawhawk.’ They’re great guys. We hope to collaborate soon! In fact, Bryan showed us his skills, giving us an impromptu Saddleback commercial, right at our booth!

There were a lot of Saddleback fans who couldn’t make it to the event but were there in spirit, joining in on social media. We had a great time doing a Facebook Live auction of 2 “dusty” and Limited Edition, Small Waterbag Sets. Joining us for that and helping us out for the event was Miss Teen USA (Texas) herself, Danielle Doty! She was so much fun to have out, and we look forward to hanging out with her again soon.
Our thanks to the Fort Worth Stockyards for having us out, we look forward to doing it again soon. Thanks to all of the amazing folks who came out to our booth and visited with us. The worlds a pretty small place when you can meet people from Iceland, Costa Rica, Peru, Russia, Australia, Canada, and Italy (to name a few) all in one day. Until next time…
